Underbites and a New LAMA contest
Amongst friends and family, Miles is known for three things, his oh so sweet disposition, his ability to remain completely silent in restaurants and movie theaters and his underbite! I have found, over the years, that his very pronounced underbite gets a lot of attention and has sparked numerous in-depth conversations, spontaneous laughter, frightened pauses, and nicknames (my favorite being from a man in tiny gym shorts and knee high socks that named him “LC” – little chomp – then quickly retracted that name and went with “LBC” instead – little big chomp).
I decided to investigate the phenomenon of underbites a bit further this morning and realized that there are a whole lot of people out there that love a good underbite as much as I do. Here are some of my underbite flickr favorites…

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this! Miles is so cute. My husband and I have a sweet, underbiting Shih Tzu, and it always makes me laugh when I catch him with just the right expression. I’m definitely looking forward to the underbites segment!
Oh, and I adored Miles’ pup tent in your Sneak Peek at Design*Sponge- totally envious! I promptly showed my husband, who agreed it would be perfect for our little guy :)

Oh, silly yellow smiley face! I don’t know why, but I find the ol’ smiley face more charming when it is just a colon and parenthesis. Yet because I tend to put a space in between them, sometimes, when I leave comments, I end up with the yellow smiley face instead of just the typeface. It kind of drives me nuts because the yellow smiley is just so… yellow and smiley. Anyways, I digress.
