Andrea Posada Part 1

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Andrea Posada is a multitalented Colombian artist who’s incredible technique can be seen in her illustrative work as well as her photography. Initially I was drawn to Andrea’s bright and imaginative illustration’s, but upon discovering her photography, I can’t decide which I love more! I don’t normally do this, but I absolutely have to post on both. First up is Andrea’s inspired photography shot across Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, and Colombia. The colors and layouts of her shots are simply breathtaking.

Up In South America

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

I’ve decided to sneak out for a couple of hours this afternoon to check out Toy Story 3! What’s the point of being your own boss when you don’t take advantage of the perks every so once in a while, right? With Pixar in mind last night, I was thrilled to stumble upon these incredible movie posters based on the movie Up which, incidentally, largely took place in Venezuela! It’s not very often that animated characters travel to South America. I think the last time I saw this was when Donald Duck traveled throughout Latin America in The Three Caballeros (a childhood favorite of mine that I highly recommend). I hope you love these awesome posters as I do. I would kill for a print of this first one!
